Phil Harris, captain of the Cornelia Marie, crab fisherman, and mainstay on Discovery Channel's hit show "Deadliest Catch" has passed away. Here are the relevant websites:

It seemed like just a matter of time, given the medical problems Phil had suffered over the last few seasons. Still, it's a shock and makes me sad. Catch is one of my favorite shows and Phil was definitely a character and seemed like a good guy. I'm gonna miss his antics and gravelly voice. RIP you ol' sea dog!
